GOAL OF THE GAME
Eden Flowers goal is very simple: you have to swap 2 flowers in order to align 3 flowers of the same color.
In order to get very useful bonuses you have to create groups of 4 or more like-colored flowers.
The game board is an 8x8 square. There are 7 types of flowers, each one of them has its own color and shape.
RULES
In Eden Flowers, you have to swap 2 flowers in order to align 3 flowers or more of the same color. Once you have created a group, the flowers explode and new flowers fall down to fill up the empty spots.
You can only swap flowers if your move successfully creates a group of 3 or more. Each time you explode a group of flowers, you get closer and closer to the next level. Each level represents a season of the year. You start by playing during spring, explode a few flowers and the flower on the left of the game board will grow and get you to the next level. The more you advance in the levels, the more you will score points by exploding flowers.
In Eden Flowers, you will discover different flowers' types:
The bomb flower: It appears when you create a group of 4 like-colored flowers. The 4 flowers do not all explode, the one you moved automatically becomes a bomb flower. The bomb flower keeps its initial color, you just have to align it with 2 flowers of the same color and it will explode all adjacent flowers and you will get bonus points. Be careful, the bomb flower can destroy other bonuses.
The mole: It appears when you create a group of 5 or more like-colored flowers. As for the bomb flower, the mole replaces the flower that helps creating the group. It is colorless but if you swap it with another flower, all the flowers of the same kind will disappear.
The alarm clock flower comes from time to time on the board. The number written in the clock stands for the number of moves you have left in order to explode the alarm clock. If the number reaches zero, the season will restart.
The rooted flower appears at the beginning of some levels. There are no flowers below the rooted flower. In order to remove this flower, you have to get it aligned with at least 2 flowers of the same color. You cannot move the rooted flower, but you can explode it with a bomb flower or a mole.
The standard flowers can be red, yellow, blue, white, orange, purple or green. When you align 3 or more flowers of the same color, you fill a bulb of the same color on the right of the board. When you make 5 or more groups of the same color, the bulb is filled and a sparkling flower appears, it is the special flower. If you make another group of 3 flowers with the special one, you will get a worm. Be careful, if you align more than 3 flowers, you will not get a worm but a bomb or a mole. If you fill all the bulbs, the last special flower will not get you a worm ... but a super worm!
The worm is able to remove many flowers at the same time. Just swap it with a flower and the worm will continue to crawl and will remove the remaining flowers of the line or column. When you use a super worm, it removes the whole line and the whole column! It can be very useful to remove rooted flowers or alarm clocks.
If you do not find a move, you can click on the "Hint" button. You will get a 50 points penalty.
From one level to another, you keep all the bonuses you had (bomb, special flower, mole, worm ...) but they are scrambled. Try to keep your bonuses for the last levels, you will score more points !
The game lasts 5 minutes, when the flower in the upper right corner is totally hatched, the game is over.
Note that there is always an available move on the board, if not the level will automatically shuffle and you will not loose points.
CONTROL OF THE GAME
In order to swap two flowers, click with the left button on the first flower to select it then click on the second flower to launch the swap. You can also swap flowers by dragging the first flower on the second one. If you want to deselect a flower, click a second time on it.
You cannot do a swap until all flowers have fallen down on the grid.
In order to receive a hint, click on the "Hint" button on the bottom left corner.
You can stop your game by clicking on the "Quit" button and receive your score.
You can also activate or desactivate the music.
