GOAL OF THE GAME
Osmose Pyramid is based on the classic card solitaire game with the same name. In Osmose Pyramid the aim is to clear the 3 card lay-ups in the allowed time. The cards are placed in a pyramid form (or sort of) and you have to remove them one by one before you run through your deck of cards. Succeed and you move to the next round and collect a gold scarab.
Collect the two gold scarabs and you'll get access to the third and final round !
RULES OF THE GAME
When the game starts cards are placed out in a pyramid formation that you have to clear away to move on to the next round. Below the pyramid you have cards in the deck, and one open card lying face up, which is the pile.
To clear away cards from the pyramid they have to be one value higher or lower than the open card of the pile. So on a 4 you can place either a 3 or a 5, and so on. The Ace is counted as both 1 and 13 and can be placed on a 2 or a King.
Cards also have to be free to be removable, only the cards that have no other card lying upon can be moved. If a card can be moved it will be highlighted when you move your mouse over it.
You can continue to move cards to the pile as long as you find another free card in the pyramid that can be placed on the opened top card of the pile.
If there is no card that you can move from the pyramid you have to go through the deck by placing one card at the time face up on the pile until you can find a move. You may find a scarab card wich is a wild card. Any free card from the pyramid, regardless of value, may be placed on the wild card. You have only one per round, so use it carefully.
If you manage to clear the whole pyramid you will move on to the next round where you get a different lay-up and a gold scarab. If you have not cleared the pyramid when you have worked your way through all cards in the deck, and have used up your wild card, you will get to the second round (if you were in the first one) or the game will be over (if you were in the second round already).
If you managed to clean the first two rounds and get the 2 gold scarabs, you will play the bonus final round.
CONTROL OF THE GAME
Controlling Osmose Pyramid is very simple. You move cards from the pyramid by clicking on them with your left mouse button.
If a card is free to move it will get highlighted when you move your mouse over it. If it is of the right value to be placed in the pile it will automatically move there when you click on it.
To move through the deck of cards you just click on the face down deck and the card will be moved to the open pile.
To use the wild card you just click on it and it will automatically place itself on top of the pile.
If you want to end the game prematurely then just press "Quit" button in the bottom right corner.
You also can turn off the sound by unchecking the sound boxes in the bottom right.
