Responsible Gaming

In developing its games, Spootnic has accorded special priority to the protection of its customers against the misuse of games.
Firstly, you won't find any games of chance on our site, which could contravene numerous global regulations.
Spootnic has therefore issued the present ethical charter aimed at guaranteeing the security, reliability and transparency of our games. By the same token, we are particularly conscious of protecting minors and participants who excessively play the games on offer
Spootnic is thus committed to promoting responsible gaming, as determined by the application of concrete measures.

Section 1 : Integrity of the games, security of the players and transactions

S1-1, Integrity of the games
We maintain production quality of the games by retaining control from the initial conception phase. Thus each player is assured of perfect fairness in the game, provided his installation techniques conform to our standards (on this subject, refer to the configuration technique rubric in our F.A.Q.).
Furthermore, Spootnic has put in place a unique technological infrastructure, enabling our Members to be provided with suitable answer time. If you encounter problems with the speed of your connection, you are invited to contact the Client Service which will assist you to solve your problem.

S1-2, The security of players
In order to guarantee the security of our Members when they are participating in a Challenge or a tournament, we have included a fraud detection module which allows us to exclude players who are using dishonest methods to deceive our Members. When a cheating player is detected, we immediately close his account, confiscate his fraudulent winnings and relay his file to the relevant authorities.

S1-3, Security of financial transactions
In order to guarantee the integrity and confidentiality of transactions performed on our site, we have opted for secure encryption of the transactions section and of Members' accounts. However, Spootnic adheres strictly to the current international laws concerning financial transparency. As such, it reserves the right to remit financial transactions which are inconsistent with the spirit of our games, to the appropriate legal authorities.
The aim of Spootnic is to offer its Members a friendly space centred around games and the Community. To this end, the maximum net win per person can not exceed 25 Euros.
The parameters and conditions giving rise to a win are scrutinized systematically. However, Spootnic is committed to preserving the strictest level of confidentiality concerning its Members' winnings.
Spootnic provides free access to all information required to monitor its activities within the boundaries of the confidentiality guaranteed to its Members by the Conditions of Use.
The email address of each Member is checked and Members accumulating significant winnings must prove their identity to our Client Service.

Section 2 : Prohibition of specific behaviour and excessive game playing

S2-1 The protection of minors
Within the European States and elsewhere in the world, there is a concern to protect minors from engaging in games involving money. Spootnic scrupulously respects these rules and emulates the games of chance policy of the large European Community monopolies(Camelot Group in the United Kingdom, The National Lottery in Ireland, the "Loterie Nationale" in Belgium, the "Loterie Nationale" in Luxembourg, the "Francaise des jeux...") and:
  • forbids the creation and commercialisation of games likely to directly target minors.
  • undertakes in its publicity not to depict minors associated with games involving money.
  • forbids the promotion of its games through the purchasing of television and radio advertising space which specifically targets children and adolescents.

Members wishing to play and win money must be identified as holders of a bank card or bank account in their name and must swear that they are legally eligible. Spootnic will carry out a thorough investigation if we suspect that one of these criteria is not respected.

S2-2, Prevention of dependency
Spootnic safeguards the responsible nature of its site and is committed to offering moderate games. Each Member is kept informed of the balance of his account and in a few clicks, can consult the history of his matches, wins and losses.
At any given moment, a Member can choose to withdraw the totality or only part of his available funds, as well as whether or not to close his account.
The opening of an account is free and does not require any minimum deposit. It allows for participation in matches against other Members free of charge.
The policy of responsible gaming is based on providing players with information, preventing the playing of games to excess, as well as protecting minors.
Payments have a limit of 500 Euros per Member and per calendar week and 1500 Euros per 30 day period.
Very frequent players are monitored on the Spootnic site and contacted if certain characteristics lead us to believe they are becoming dependent or that their game pattern is excessive.
By contacting the Client Service, a Member can at any time ask for auto-exclusion, so as to preclude himself from accessing Spootnic's paying games either temporarily or permanently. When this choice is confirmed by the Member, it is not possible to retract this auto-exclusion.
In summary, by means of these various principles and controls, Spootnic is committed to engaging in responsible activities and adhering stringently to the spirit of the legislation pertaining to games, as dictated by the aforementioned State monopolies. It undertakes not to encourage any excessive behaviour of players which would damage their best interests.
